We just returned from a few days in San Antonio. We stayed at the best place, the Hyatt Hill Country Resort! They have a lazy river, roast marshmallows every night, pony rides, Disney movie under the stars…just imagine it & they have it! We met Brett’s sister and family for dinner one night then met up at Sea World. We did Sea World one day. They have a new Sesame Street themed water park with rides, Landry was on sensory overload! We really thought she would be afraid of the characters but she was completely opposite…she wanted to immediately see Abby & Rosita after they did their show. She even told us she wanted them to go on a ride with her! She rode a, as she called it, “big ‘o fish” ride. It was a smaller version of the Conquistador at Six Flags. I wasn’t sure how she was going to react but as soon as it stopped, she said “that was fun, ride it again”! We saw the Shamu show & she thought that was the best part. She gets so excited when she’s talking about their “tails slapping the water & it went all over the people”. She told us that it was “so exciting” when we asked her if she had fun! I rode the Steel Eel roller coaster while her & Daddy waited. She told me “good job momma, riding that big ‘ol train”. I’m not sure it can get any sweeter than this right now!
We had a really good time even though it rained one afternoon…and it was 75 degrees when it was raining! No rain at home, so it was nice to remember what it smelled, felt & looked like! We had so much fun, we are already planning the next trip to the Hill Country Resort! Making memories is so much fun!
