We moved out of our house for a week to have our hardwood floors refinished. We decided that it might be a good time to convert Landry’s bed into a “toddler” bed. As we moved back in, we took down her mobile that hung above her bed and stowed away her footboard to her bed. In it’s place we put up the bed rail… really? Is it already that time??? We should still be swaddling her to go to sleep. It was not MY idea to take down the mobile… I made that thing because I couldn’t find ANYTHING I liked! I started crying!!! I’ve heard of people being sad over such silly things & thought “how ridiculous”! I AM THAT PERSON NOW! Where is that little baby? How has she grown so quickly? She’s singing the entire song of Twinkle-Twinkle-Little Star! She can count to 15 with NO help! She knows the entire alphabet & recognizes each letter! She speaks in FULL sentences! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? At this VERY moment, I am listening to Darius Ruckers song “It wont be like this for long”, good grief IT’S SO TRUE!!! I LOVE MY LIFE! I LOVE THIS GIRL!
p.s. she’s done PERFECT in her bed!
