Happy 2nd Birthday Sweet Pea! It seems like you should still be that tiny little baby but WOW, there is so much difference between 1 & 2! You are so smart & have such a strong vocabulary (daddy will never get a word in now that there are 2 of us)!!! You are so happy & have such a sweet soul. You have a great imagination & it’s so much fun to see your mind working! You showed me your counting skills the other day when you asked for M&M’s & I told you that you could have as many as you could count…you counted to 14! (they were mini m&m’s) You have made our role as parents so enjoyable! God has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams & we thank Him for making us your Mommy & Daddy!
We let Landry open her gifts from us on her actual Birthday. A New Baby Doll, Stroller & all that “little Mommy” stuff…she ABSOLUTELY loves her baby dolls! The clothes offered little to do be desired-HA! We went to Build-a-Bear & to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Landry picked out very her own animal, a dog named “Scruff”. She picked out pj’s for her/him??? and sunglasses! She was sooo cute when we told her to pick out a heart for the dog. I asked her where her heart was & she looked confused, so I pointed to her chest & the next thing she was doing was putting the heart on the dog’s chest. She helped step on the stuffing pedal & did all the things the employee told her to do before giving the dog her heart…rub it on your nose so she always “nose” you, rub it on your belly so she never goes hungry, rub it on your forehead so she is smart, rub it on your knee so she always “knee-d’s”. We gave Scruff a bath & then off to eat Birthday dinner!
