Yes, that equals 6 months and 6 months ago today, Brett & I were allowed to leave the hospital with another person!!! I remember someone telling me that the weirdest thing is that you go in as 2 people, husband & wife. You leave as a family, mother & father. You wonder at the time if you are REALLY allowed to leave with this new being. Kinda Funny. We also were told that time would be the most careful Brett would ever drive...very true. I never thought I would ride in the backseat but that's where I rode home watching this beautiful new baby sit in her car seat that was installed too upright...OOPS! (now corrected!) Well, here we are at half of a year that we have spent learning our new purpose in life & it ROCKS!!!
Landry had her check-up on Friday & she is at 15.8 lbs, 26.5 in and did very well with her shots. She hadn't gained as much weight as I thought she had but she grew almost 2 inches since her 4mo appt! We also tried green stuff yesterday. I made some massed peas & with a little gagging, some frowns & a lot on her face, we conquered a tablespoon! SUCCESS!!!
